James Anthony Miller (a.k.a. Jamie Miller) (born 1959) is a Canadian contemporary realist, figurative painter, based in Montreal, Quebec.

Self taught and influenced by Caravaggio, Delacroix, and Repin, Miller began Oil painting in 2004 at the age of 44.

Vegan since 1984, Miller, a social commentator, uses vegan paints and materials [1] to revisit/rework classical themes in order to express/examine/critique contemporary sociopolitical issues and ideas.[2]
